"TV babe Davina McCall has threatened to flash her boobs to get more youngsters to vote.

But the Big Brother hottie is not after votes for the reality show – she is on a more serious mission.

Davina 39, wants to boost interest in all things political. And her answer to the apathy among the young is to make a telly show called My Boobs Are Too Big.

She could even show a pair of breasts to lure viewers – perhaps even her own.

But the programme would not be about her own treasure chest – it would be a way of boosting ratings for a politics show.

The programme would be a vehicle for urging anyone and everyone to use their vote.

The Big Brother host revealed her idea for the cheeky show title while appearing on BBC1 show Question Time.

She felt the title would dupe viewers into tuning into a programme they would otherwise avoid.

Davina claimed it was a massive “tragedy” that more people under the age of 34 voted on Channel 4’s Big Brother – just over six million – than in the last General Election.

She said: “Obviously young people wouldn’t tune into a programme with a stuffy title like ‘Vote for Your Future’ or ‘Use Your Vote’.

Davina claimed youngsters did not bother voting in elections because they thought they had nothing to offer them or interest them.

She added: “I came up with the name My Boobs Are Too Big. I thought they might be interested in seeing Davina’s big boobs.”

In an answer to a question from host David Dimbleby, 68, Davina said the majority of the people voting in Big Brother were under 34.

And she joked: “I wouldn’t imagine anyone over 34 would watch Big Brother.”
