Default Does time spent in the house effect whether someone is considered a good housemate?

I was thinking during most debates about housemates who only lasted a few days/weeks, most people use the point that they didn't last long enough to be considered 'good'.

So do you think that the time spent in the house actually effects whether a housemate is good or not? I think that it honestly doesn't matter the time they've spent in there, they're good if they're good but I'm sure other's disagree.

Thoughts?
