I got this idea from DS, as there's a thread about it on their TA sub-forum. Basically just share all your opinions on The Apprentice (it can be from any series) that may be seen as controversial, unpopular, or different to the majority.
I've only seen TA9 onwards, but here are mine: 1) Pamela from TA10 was an awful candidate. All she did was moan about the PM and never took any responsibility for her own actions. Every series has that one person who moans and bitches about the PM without doing **** all themselves, and she was that one person. Same way Elle was in the first few weeks of the recent series (but unlike Pamela, she won me over in the end). I also found Pamela to be quite unlikable and whiny. Her bringing Daniel back to the BR in the Board Game task for personal reasons just confirmed my dislike for her. She blamed him for the failure of the task, when he did everything she told him to. She tried to scapegoat him because she didn't like him. (Sorry MB. this had to be said) Which brings me on to my next point... 2) I thought Daniel was a great character. Sure, he was delusional, cocky and not as good as selling as he made out he was, but I think that was part of his appeal imo. I can understand why people would dislike him though. 3) Lauren from the same series is criminally underrated. I thought she was brilliant. She was smart, professional and likable. And I personally think she was victim to the obligatory "she doesn't do much" scapegoating in the BR, just like Natalie and Uzma were the year before. 4) I don't think Selina is as bad of candidate as she is made out to be. Yeah, she may be unlikable to some (which I perfectly understand) but I don't think she was a weak candidate in terms of business. She showed business acumen and was competent (she won both tasks she was PM in). I often found that she also made some good points and spoke sense, but the people in her team often dismissed her ideas just because they disliked her - Vana in the France task being a prime example of this. 5) I thought Aisha from this series had way more potential and Natalie should've been fired instead as she was utterly useless. Yeah, her dictatorial leadership and her mistakes were responsible for the failure of that particular task, but a week later Vana was an awful PM, and look how far she went. |
