Default Are 'stir up the drama' tasks ever needed?

Stir up the drama tasks can constitute reading viewer tweets to the housemates, asking them "which housemate said this about another housemate" or "which housemate do you find the most/least ___", amongst other things.

Personally, it's a no. I'd much rather things just play out naturally, plus in most cases they are just pointless and boring.
