I don't think she speaks to them like dirt, Carole has been the most fair housemate imo and hasn't shown bias towards other housemates in any situation. Sometimes she is a total hypocrite, but she can be fair, unlike the other housemates.

And when she does speak down to someone, like Chanelle for example, it's because they were asking for it. Chanelle has the mentality of a child and is constantly seeking attention, but because she's such a spoilt selfish brat Carole just decided there and then that she would pay no more attention to her by not speaking to her anymore, and she had valid reasons as to why she didn't want to speak to Chanelle anymore, but the forehead didn't listen to any of them unfortunately.

Talking to someone like dirt would be doing something like calling them a "slut" for example, but Carole is quite fair and doesn't refer to personal and childish insults.

But as for cleaning etc. I agree, to see how they would cope without her and her face when she's told there was a washing machine.
