So the european commission back unregulated Uber to wipe out all taxis across europe and threaten any governments who try to regulate them like every other taxi firm and taxi driver in europe. Totally corrupt, totally unlevel playing field, they dont have to pay the councils for licenses for cars and drivers, the council cant inspect their cars or drivers, they dont even need to have the same meters on the same tariffs, nor are they insured the same. The workers have little rights compared to any other taxi company and no minimum wage as theyre under the banner of self employed . This is the start of corporate takeovers via TTIP and the EU. Just as NAFTA has done so in north America. This has already wiped out over 100,000 tax jobs. This will eventually run to millions and any government who tries to regulate them will be sued for billions. Welcome to the new corporate world of deregulated monstrous corporations where fair and healthy free market competition is effectively outlawed.
