The Xtra Factor could be about to go through some big changes - and might be live from the very beginning of the show.
In previous series, The Xtra Factor has been pre-recorded during the auditions, Boot Camp and Judges' Houses stages - but it's now being suggested that it could be live from the very beginning.
Our X Factor source tells us that this is actually looking very likely, although nothing has yet been confirmed.
But it would certainly make sense, as the judges and main show host Dermot O'Leary have already started filming auditions with no news on who will present The Xtra Factor.
In fact, our X Factor insider says that it's still not clear who the hosts will be, as it all rests on whether the show ends up being live from the beginning or not.
The Xtra Factor being live throughout the series would also allow for more celebrity guests and interaction with viewers - perhaps there's something to those rumours that George Shelley is being lined up as a social media correspondent.
Of course, there's already been lots of speculation about who could be hosting The Xtra Factor - including last year's hosts, Melvin Odoom and Rochelle Humes.
Rylan Clark-Neal has also been linked to the show - potentially co-hosting with Rochelle or Laura Whitmore - while DJ Roman Kemp and Westlife star Nicky Byrne have also been reported as potential presenters.
But we don't know anything for sure yet, as ITV has declined to comment to Digital Spy on the reports.
The X Factor will be back on ITV later this year.

Don't really have an opinion on this tbh. Xtra Factor has been terrible for a while, so I don't really care that much.
