Noodles and kebabs. Is that too much to ask?
Housemates have been getting in a right fix over food. On the upside, they passed the Self-Improvement Task and won a luxury shopping budget. On the downside, anger has been simmering about Carole's control of the shopping budget. Today has been no exception. "Get a jar of cookies!" heckled Brian as the shopping list got underway. Getting no response, and possibly ready to blow his top, he left Carole and the others to it in the Living Area and stormed outside to pace the garden. Ziggy then plucked up the courage to enter into a brief discussion about the price of apples. "Okay Carole," said Ziggy, "It's two pound twenty for ten, no?" "It's four forty for twenty," Carole retorted. "You shouted out ten," said Ziggy, "I was just saying." "No you didn't!" Carole snapped back at him. story continues below Advertisement Moments later, a defeated Ziggy joined Brian in the garden, alongside Liam. "Amanda asked me to write down the list," ranted Brian, "and then Carole was like 'Well no, we need Jonty to do it.' What's the point of even trying to get involved in the shopping list?" "Just be calm mate," said Liam, "Try and keep chilled." "It's a nightmare man," said Ziggy. "I've never once sat down to do the shopping list," protested Brian, "I'm sorry I can't add up. I just wanna have noodles! Noodles and kebabs!" Brian then paced back and forth as the others listened to his complaints. "I'm going back in," Brian eventually declared. "I don't see why I should be outside." Good luck with those noodles, Brian. And the kebabs. |
