Default Burnley to use pensioners as mascots for FA cup clash

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footba...nstead-9831699

Burnley are replacing the usual children mascots for elderly fans before their FA Cup tie with Lincoln.

The 11 OAPs, aged between 69 and 85, will walk out with their heroes, including Joey Barton, Andre Gray and Paul Robinson.

It will be the first time an English club has used pensioners as mascots.

The Clarets' Community Chief Executive Officer Neil Hart says the gesture is to repay their "lifetime of support".

LT to finally run out at West Ham
