Default Third year a series has slumped when guests enter and bounced back when they leave

In BB16 , BB17 and BB18, we had houseguests enter. BB16 with the ex-HMs, BB17 with the bfs and BB18 with the VIPs. In all 3 cases , this point in the season was considered to be the worst. In bb18 in particular, the season went downhill so quickly, but in all cases it bounced back almost as soon as the guests left (maybe not to as great an extent with bb16, but there were cashbomb drama).

The cast are delivering again. Conversely to what people were saying last week, I can't believe how quickly it's improved since the guests left.

Having guests just doesn;t work. All the attention goes to them, and the HMs are awestruck so they stop interacting with each other. It's like the series goes on pause for a few days; it's just a shame it happened to early in BB18.
