What do you have to do to get banned for a week?

My last 2 bans have been a week long, but i notice everyone else getting day or 2 day bans for similar or the same reasons as mine were....so whats the difference?

But Admin must have a valid reason for that , though.

Yeah it depends how many active infractions you have.

We can just put straight bans on people and decide the length based on whatever they have done, however we very very rarely do this (as its rarely waranted..I think the only straight bans I have done this year have been on russian spambots ) and its generally just an infraction that tips you over into a ban.

It doesnt mention certain circumstances for certain people though....


I called marsh a cock....jokingly....week ban.

Tried replying to the original email as instructed by james....cant send because the recipitants inbox is full...so tried josy...no reply......

Thats because you still have active infractions. Like..they last a set amount of time (usually 3 months) and then drop off. So checking yours, you have a fairly high amount of points and a fair few from recently. The recent ones won't disappear for 3 months, and will go towards your total until then. Thats why you always seem to get week bans. If that makes sense.

I believe you can check the amount of active ones that you have yourself by going onto your profile, and see how long they last for too.

There are other members who even a 1 point infraction puts them into a week ban too.

I would..but there is nothing to bring up this time as its just the way the system is. Its working as its meant to and theres nothing wrong with parmnions account.
