Yes, I'd say separating children from their parents and putting them in confinement does count as child abuse and luckily, there's a **** ton of experts that would agree with me and no amount of trying to blame the parents will change the fact thatit was the US government doing this to children.
No amount of spin will take focus away from the fact that you are basically supporting child abuse as a deterrent to illegal immigration.
