I would be very surprised if donations worked for this site. I will comment on your posts as I see fit, if you want to ignore me that is your prerogative, but you don't dictate who I respond to anymore than I can dictate to you.

Don't have any objection to a subforum for a TV show, that is after all what this site is about, I am sure there are many forums that cater for sexy time

I dont think we need to be adding subforums that would further split the forum in any way tbh also any sexual type posts could be posted in the over 18s group I guess if people feel the need to discuss it on the internet.

Adding to that there shouldnt be any overly descriptive or graphic sexual posts on here its not the place for it.

I don't see how a subforum with these parameters will divide the forum. It would just provide a place, much like a fan club does, where members can be supportive and uplifted for being themselves in a unique way. 90% of the time on here if gay rights or transgender issues are being discussed there are to many belittling, aggressive, insulting, accusational, and anti post to the LGBTQ community, under the guise of freedom of speech and debate, for persons of that community to feel like stepping in with their voice. So an area where someone can state a gay or trans issue that is personal or just hits home with them.... and where that issue won't get "discussed/debated" and trivialized by the smaller subset of "anti's" on here is a real positive step forward for this place. Especially seeing as there is a rather large group of people who would put themselves in the LGBTQ community posting on this site.

The conversations had in it don't necessarily have to be personal... just topics LGBTQ members and supporters can have without being challenged about.

The new gender passport issue thread is an example. Why would someone who is in the LGBTQ community even bother to weigh in half a page into the conversation... when the mindset of the discussion is already negative towards them. Especially the young ones we have posting on this site. Why not have a place where everything about LGBTQ isn't up for debate... and is just accepted.

You've combined serious debate and news so that it's all up for debate... news... celebrity posts... information. This section wouldn't be up for debate. That is the difference

At least 2 members of the LGBT community have commented on the 'gender neutral passport' thread within the first few posts. Unless you think that the LGBT community all are one homogeneous blob of group think who will support everything that anyone claiming to belong to the same group says or wants?

Maybe we could introduce a section thats basically...'you must agree with my opinions that I post in this thread'. I guess that could be popular. But thats nothing to do with LGBT+ people or supporting them.

Nope. Not what I'm saying at all.

More than two will choose to stay out of the conversation though. I know I won't bother. If you want to throw out secondary meanings to my post other than what I posted... You go ahead though.

Thats exactly what you did post?! Nothing to do with secondary meanings. You basically want a section where certain points of view are not to be argued against. Fair enough, but thats nothing at all to do with LGBT people, nor would a LGBT forum be censoring the voices of anyone, and especially not LGBT people themselves. If you want to start a fanclub, please go right ahead and in that thread, negative posts will be deleted. However you also cannot post negative posts about anyone else..only positive things about your chosen fanclub topic/person.

As an aside..do people really not reply to threads in SD if the majority opinion is against them? I actually sometimes prefer it that way..can't debate with those you agree with

Because being gay isn't up for debate. Being trans isn't up for debate. So why not have some place other than the debate section to talk about issues or ideas or problems or emotions or celebrations of that. Everywhere else on here it appears to be a debate.

Or just give the people what they really want.... a drag race subforum where this also would happen.

Some people don't want to argue with people when nothing will result from that debate. No ones ideas or voices will change in an online thread/debate about transgender issues or even one about Donald Trump. Serious debate isn't for everyone who posts on here because not all of us want to tell the same person for the umpteenth time... the same opposite point of view.

Why do you think there are some many people who dont post in S&D... and complain about how vile it's become. It serves a purpose for a subset of people on here... and an LGBTQ forum would serve a purpose for a different subset of people on here.

I don't disagree. A drag race forum is very much needed.

However, even there would be some debate on transgender issues from what I know of the show. Hasn't there been controversy over transwomen not being able to enter, or something along those lines, as they are not the same as drag queens? Also many trans people dislike drag intensely as they feel its taking the piss out of them. Even though its not taking the piss at all, if anything, its taking the piss out of women!

That was a joke btw... I didn't actually mean a drag race subforum is synonymous with an LQBTQ one. Hence the joker emote

But you seem to think that a LGBT forum would mean that posters from serious debates were not allowed in? Or that anything posted in there must be met with universal acceptance, when there is much arguing between the LGBT community on these issues to start with anyway. And there always will be, as lesbians, gay men, bisexual people and trans people and whatever the other letters stand for (also including allies apparently, and you could be an ally of lesbians for example, but not of another group under the umbrella) who disagree with others under the other letters, aswell as people in their own letter, on some stuff.

If you want to talk to only like minded people..who will not disagree with an anything on your chosen topic, make an invite only social group? I can't see it going to well though as people have a variety of opinions on stuff anyway, regardless of which group they belong to. But I guess you could remove access from people who dissented in any way from what you wish to be posted?

Hmm. But many members of the LGBT community think that a drag race forum would be basically the same thing. See how much of an issue this is?

Don't see anything outrageous about such subforum. I'd compare it to an internet equivalent of the gay pub where everyone is welcome but LGBT people are protected and can be themselves. Like in rl there should be such a place on a forum like this
