I don't think it's a case of "remembering" as it wasn't all that long ago.
Plus a second numa numa was produced, which that man was unwilling to do because he was actually embarrassed and annoyed at this video to begin with...but they threw enough money at him to persuade him to do a "proper" numa numa video.

The song isn't even called numa numa, but it's the only word people could remember from the song lol. I learnt all the words to the song back when the video came out, just because people were actually impressed and thought I spoke a foreign language >_<

He is, in my eyes, one of the original if not THE original person to gain fame/popularity through his own private webcam video at home, through the internet. And just happens to be one of the few people who actually DIDN'T want to become famous/well known for his video, but was actually rather ashamed of it.
