A man who despite his own problems did his best to publicise research work etc that was being done to overcome what, unfortunately, affects many people.
My memory of Christopher Reeve is of my son, who was a huge fan, rushing round the house with a pair of his father's pants on and a cape shouting 'Superman' with one arm raised in the air. Christopher Reeve certainly was a Super Man. RIP after all your suffering.
