The contracts actually say that all housemates have the right to back out.

There's more to it than just what it says in the dry welcome pack as part of the show (i.e. like referring to it as a house when it's basically just a TV studio). It's a legal signed contract, an actual 750K grand deal, signed, negotiated and everything. There are ways to get out of the contract, but it's nowhere like "oh, you don't want to do it 10 hours before we start, bummer! ok by then xx". It's a business.

Yeah, I think if they had no backup plan for if she decided to change her plans, it's very bad decision making...
