It sounded like pity, not hate. He preceeded that comment by saying - a couple of times - "I feel so sorry for her".

And I'm sorry but he's right. this is the kind of situation she creates and thrives on. She deserves pity.

I love the fact that Lewis stayed out of it, didn't get involved, barely talked about her all day, and people are still going on about him being obsessed with her hahaha.
