i don't understand how you can call sian boring and dull yet not call kate/alex that ?? alex is not funny in the slightest, sits on the fence in every situation and avoids conflict at all costs literally the ONLY thing going for him is that he is catfish

sian provides genuine funny moments, massively adds to the dynamic of the group and she is obviously playing a good game considering she's been in fights with half of the group yet still keep coming out on top

The only genuinely funny person is Freddie, so arguing the toss over who's funnier out of Sian/Alex is kinda futile. I don't like/dislike either of them based on that

Like I said, if this show had been full of "real" people it would've been dull as **** and completely pointless...it's the catfishes/fakes that make it interesting, even by virtue of them just being a catfish.

Haven't been here a few days.
Overall predictable blocking of Ryan, Mairead and Precious.

I know not everyone likes them - but I LOVE the cliffhangers. The production is on fleek, as Alex said
Mairead was hilarious but she did try too hard at some point. Dan's face when she came to his apartment was a picture!
I feel sorry for Dan, as he's going to have serious trust issues when he realizes Kate is also a catfish (though he's somewhat came to terms with this possibility).
Sian and Precious That was brutal
Precious clearly didn't understand how to play upon entering the circle...

While I'm still team Kate&Dan and Sian is somewhat annoying and Freddie is a whole new level of annoying - I'm still rooting for them all to get to the final. They do desrve it. Even Freddie.
afaic, I'd rather have Scotty too if it's 5 finalists. Not that I'm too ken on him, but he has gone through some stages in the circle and has tried really hard to improve - so I appreciate that. Harry is too new and bland, and while I'm glad he's onto Freddie - he's just sailing mostly over his looks, when it comes to the viewers liking him.

One last ratings? But surely then everyone will rank everyone low. The two people with the highest ratings face a vote from the rest of the players? As long as the public aren't involved idm!

It can be that each of them need to rate the rest in order from 1-5? In star rating they could give everyone 1 star and it gets nowhere.
Or the blocked players have a say? Or it's a public vote on the app...

I guess it’s just difference of what you look for in a contestant. The first week and a half I loved Kate/Alex but at the end of the day at this point he adds nothing and doesn’t really have any storyline where as Sian does. Even if she is ‘basic’ I don’t really get why that’s a bad thing, she actually provides entertainment in the way of not sitting on the fence / dissolving conflict like Alex. I would rather watch 8 Sian’s who would actually do something and stand up for what they think creating arguments and friendships rather then 8 catfishes who are just nice to each other and don’t say anything offensive / suspicious. I think Alex’s time was up like a week ago he’s not added much to the show since and I would have rather him go and we got a new catfish.

I think the context of this show is important though, if it were Big Brother I'd probably like Sian but the interesting thing about The Circle's premise is the potential for catfishes and it has been since the start. If there were 8 real people in there what would the point in the show be? May as well just stick them in the BB house

She doesn't have a storyline though! Anything she's been involved with has been the product of others doing (Precious taking offence towards her/Scotty flirting), aside from that she has for the most part literally just been ~there~. Alex - like all the catfishes - automatically has a storyline through virtue of them being catfishes, i.e. will they get away with it, and most importantly (the biggest part of the whole show) the anticipation for their reveal to another player.

The series hasn't had enough catfishes/fakes, and although it seems inevitable it's going to be pretty disappointing and a bit of a waste of time when one of them doesn't win. In fairness I have the same sort of issues with Dan and many of the others, but they don't annoy me like she does from time to time

Oh I didn't mean the blocked players, just like say there's 5 in the final, the top 2 face a vote/discussion from the other three

I originally thought and hoped they'd have a jury made up of the blocked players, but that'd only work if they sequestered them to stop (like you said) them knowing who everyone is

But tbf it shouldn't matter that the blocked players know who's a catfish. Aiden was still happy for Alex/ Kate even though she was surprised he was a catfish ,she even told him to win it as she liked him .

I agree about Kate . The only thing about him that excites me now is when I think about her and Dan's reaction to each other when they meet whenever one of the two gets blocked .
