That's what I thought too I don't mind her being a recruit as much because she's not some fame obsessed, drunken disorderly party girl. She actually is genuine.

half of them are scouted.... x factor, bgt etc is the same. a few past housemates said they were asked to apply. i know someone who was asked to audition for x factor aswell and didnt even get through first stage lol

i'm assuming it's like how all of love island are scouted, they don't go for famous people and offer them a spot on the show like bb used to but they go through people's instagrams and ask them to come audition

But yeah I would imagine a few of them were scouted (to audition). Tomasz, Sian, Anamelia, Lewis G, Isaac, Kay, Lewis F all seem quite likely. The rest less so. Though I'm unsure about the two late entries.

she was probably scouted aswell.... they still have to audition but they were asked to audition they didnt apply. my friend who was scouted for x factor still had to go through the audition process aswell

It is normal for people to be approached and asked to apply for shows.

I was scouted for The X Factor last year and told to audition when I was in Leeds doing karaoke in a bar.

Approached to audition, though if they did that there was a good chance she would progress further than someone who just applied of their own accord.

but for real C5 is starting to seem like our dutch channel SBS6, with their Utopia, filled with actors/actresses, while they promote it as the soap with real people

They just weren't casting anyone who'd been on reality TV before (it was even one of the questions on the questionnaire they sent back to shortlisted applicants)

There was a guy in my audition group who said he'd been scouted via Instagram. He was a conventionally attractive, well-built local rapper with a decent following - had been asked in 2017 but couldn't make it work, and kept saying to us "I'm not sure whether I want to do it or not", which lowkey annoyed me sure enough he got through the task room, and frankly I'm surprised he didn't make it on the show tbh, but I'm glad he didn't cause he'd have walked it
