Of course , and don't forget all these perfect people have never said anything inappropriate, most people know it 's not his thoughts he just relayed something someone else said so for all those banging on about fans defending Lewis, it's no different than anti fans trying to make out it was Lewis himself who wanted "All Jews killed" if you are relaying what someone has said, you use the words they said , so people can spin it how they like, I wonder if the autobiography about Hitler used those words , you can bet they did, lets go and preach to them just how bad they are for using the mans own words.pfft

That analogy doesn't work though, an author of an auto biography uses words as factual, Lewis used it to get a cheap laugh.

Put another way, if someone on a reality TV show made a cheap joke at an atrocity that has affected you deeply, how would you expect them to handle it? I would be calling for blood. C5 cannot take the chance of being associated with it....rightly or wrongly, they are a business and ha e to protect their brand

I would heavily condemned. Him if he meant it, as I'd guess you may have done so too.
However he did not.

For me this is at worst a formal final warning issue not an ejection one.

I agree with you Joey...I would never defend the undefendable but this has been taken way out of context IMO.
