Has anyone else noticed that, with age, you don't get as excited about Christmas as you used to? I mean...last year, I woke up on Christmas morning at about 7am because my little brother/sister & niece woke me up...but I refused and slept in til about 9:30

Whereas when I was younger I'd wake at about 5am, haha.

But usually, I wake up, open the presents , then my older brothers and their families come down for Christmas dinner... spend the rest of the day using my presents/calling people and wishing them Merry Xmas, and drinking lots of wine.

Boxing day, the family comes down again, because mum does this huge feast

I personally prefer the build-up. Christmas shopping is brilliant, especially when it's dark, and you're walking around with a warm drink
