I sort of agree with that; when you get married you become a 50/50 partnership and if you don't want to risk losing half of your money and assets, don't get married in the first place. Only marry someone you
really, truly trust and like as an individual as well as a partner, so that if you do end up splitting (because **** happens), you can handle splitting everything down the middle and going your separate ways, even if it hurts.
I mean... you can have a long term relationship without getting married
