There's a difference between normalising and indoctrinating / promoting, though. I'd sort of agree if it's actively PUSHING it or even pushing "and that's OK!!!" rather than helping children to develop their OWN system of morals... but I have no issue with normalisation (i.e. just including gay characters in stories without fuss, talking about same sex relationships openly etc.)

Hiding a normal part of everyday society (which in this country, homosexual relationships are) from children is more akin to political indoctrination than being open about them, tbh.

the government is hardly subjecting school children to enforced political indoctrination. I've never heard such blatant falsehood.

Indeed, this isn't on the curriculum though story books with same sex couples should be in every school if we want the next generation to be more tolerant and accepting
