I actually laughed out loud at 13:00 in. The awkward few seconds of silence after the quote is read out .

To be fair, I think what he's specifically pointing out is that Shapiro has now taken it upon himself to critique the "anger that Americans have for each other", and that there is a (large) list of examples of Shapiro himself being a part of stoking up that anger in the first place - and not even a small part, he's been very widely heard.
