You're opting in to communications so it probably means your contact details aren't verified.

Also if you haven't already; they'll ask you for a photograph of ID (passport or driving license), or for a copy of your birth certificate and a utility bill, at some point soon. New government regulations, innit.

Parm did u know that free bets don't actually cost the bookies anything? Interesting little factoid for you there. Don't be grateful for them, they are an illusion. If you win, the bookies would have lost the same amount if it was a paid-for bet because you get your stake returned as part of normal payout. If you lose, the free bet cancels itself out. Customers use free bets IN ADDITION to placing their usual cash bets, not instead of them, and thus the bookies don't lose out on turnover either (and increase it due to increased footfall / increased online traffic). And most people reinvest the vast majority of their free bet winnings in real cash bets. It's a scaaam.

Also, the industry doesn't refer to them as "free bets" internally because free bets don't exist. They are illegal. It's actually called a "Risk Free Bet" because you don't actually get anything for free.

The only difference between your winning £10 free bet and your winning £10 cash bet, is that they take the payment for the "free" one after you win instead of before .

Ah yeah....now I see it that way round, it's hardly free at all as you don't get the stake back....it's still a free shot at some free money though....5.5 g in this instance....probably end up with about 5 quid though....free though, five quid free.

I remember Hills buggered up a few years ago and if you got a free bet online you could just collect it like cash. They sent me £5 a week for nearly two months - without me even using the account - and I was just withdrawing it straight to my bank . They caught on in the end though. Shame, I was enjoying my free £5 every week.

From that offer on the coral website

FAQs

I get an error when trying to OPT IN - something went wrong

If you are receiving a yellow error message when trying to OPT IN to the Club, this means you are already opted in and there is no need to opt in again. You can place your qualifying bets.
