CAROLINE Flack will host ITV2's Winter Love Island when it launches next January.

The telly presenter, 39, will front the first ever in sunny South Africa.

Like the summer version she’ll jet back and forth for the duration, which kicks off next January and is rumoured to be six weeks long.

She wants to keep her projects going in the UK and look after her beloved French bulldog Ruby. It's no wonder Flack has a year-round tan.

A telly source said: “ITV bosses have been thrilled with the popularity of the show this year and enjoyed bumper viewing figures so it seemed like a no brainer to fill the January reality TV slot left by Celebrity Big Brother.

“Caroline is now synonymous with the show so it wouldn’t seem right to have anyone else hosting it. They’ll use the same production crew too so it should all run like clock work.”

Why don’t they have a shorter LGBT version or something? Airing the exact same show twice a year is one of the reasons that BB/CBB died. People like variety!

If I'm honest... I'm more likely to watch in the winter than summer. I was really into this series but summer life is to busy so I'm at least 8-10 episodes behind. Winter I just sit and knit to tv... or put it on in the kitchen while I bake. (Yeah I'm old !)
But it would mean I'll try less and less to watch a summer one
