The issue isn't them being called idiots, it's them being lined up in a row on an advertising billboard for a gun shop clearly designed to evoke a "target practise" image. A dumb and thinly-veiled threat. It's not a very realistic one and I don't think it's going to immediately lead to any attempts on their lives, but it is part of a very dark attitude that's slowly but surely creeping in, that is inevitably going to end in
someone being hurt as a political target.
