He was leaked back when the game was first announced but this is the first time he's been shown.

a new leak from the official website has hinted that Polteageist, Drednaw and Alcremie all have a pre-evolution and corviknight has 2 pre-evolutions (probably meaning its the regional bird) and Wooloo, Rolycoly, Yamper and the starters all evolve

It's strange, it feels like we barely know anything about the Pokedex this time, I'm certain most pokemon were revealed in previous generations before launch. I suspect we'll be getting the least new pokemon of any generation thus far.
