Proportionally her donating 10k would be the equivalent of us donating about 10p. So to be worthy if any 'award' her donations must be substantial. I'm wondering who the lucky beneficiaries are?

Google it, it's too many to mention
As of 2011 she donated over 100 million.
Most causes are about children.
Rowling has contributed money and support for research and treatment of multiple sclerosis, from which her mother suffered before her death in 1990. In 2006, Rowling contributed a substantial sum toward the creation of a new Centre for Regenerative Medicine at Edinburgh University, later named the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic.[190] In 2010, she donated another £10 million to the centre,[191] and in 2019 a further £15 million.[192] wikipedia
Some of the later hp universe books were written exclusively for charity with all profits going there
