Enjoyed that, the villians were decent (I'd argue better than the Racnoss tbh) and the story was interesting for a historical one.
Bring on the Judoon next week ![]()

I mean I was just waiting for it be confirmed they are related to the Racnoss in some way. It was just like watching Sarah Parish.

Definitely better than the last episode.
I do wish that the main group's dynamics would be given more attention to detail though as we're 1 and a bit seasons in and none of them have shown any character growth, or built up interesting dynamics with each other imo.

Tosin Cole has been cast as a lead in an American TV show so hopefully it means he’ll be leaving this year.

Tbf to the guy, Doctor Who isn't really giving him a chance to shine on the show imo, him and the one that plays Yaz need to desperately get away from Doctor Who to save their careers imo as they're not being allowed to showcase any acting skills.
Tbh though Jodie Whittaker has been the only main cast member that is delivering strong acting performances on Doctor Who in my view.

I'd keep Yaz if we had a choice of the three companions, Ryan is just so bland and Graham is jut forced 'comedy', I like the Doctor and Yaz's friendship!

They really need to change the companions at this point. Ryan's actor literally can't act, they refuse to give Yaz anything to do (even in her own episodes) and while Graham was one of the better parts of the last season, he's become surplus at this point now that his arc has come to an end.
They should just stick to one companion or two at most. Better to have one or two well developed characters over three characters with no characterisation between them. Keep Jodie, boot the companions and Chibnall and treat Season 13 as a soft reboot. |

I think Mandip is off too. She’s been cast in something too
