The Government has begun reviewing its furlough scheme, with planned options including cutting the 80 per cent wage subsidy for British workers.
Taxpayers currently cover the wages of 6.3 million people whose jobs were shut down by the coronavirus outbreak, but Chancellor Rishi Sunak aims to “wind down” the scheme gradually over coming months, the Standard has learnt.

i haven't stopped working, as also work from home.

I think that the numbers infected with covid will be much less now than they were prior to lockdown, so even without social distancing, it should be a lot better (and safer) than it was.

Doubtful. If no social distancing measures were taken the numbers would increase again.

if we get some nice sunny weather, cases will drop like a stone (UV kills it so it is a lot more difficult to transmit). What we should all be hoping for is the best summer weather in years

It'll be a miracle if we have a nice June.

It's spread quite nicely already, in far sunnier climates than our summers will ever be.

You dont read links kizzy, I gave you the link for the Oxford/Astra Zeneca collaboration and your first thought was about profits when it clearly said in the link it was non profit if you read it :

For people like myself, who work in places such as hotel restaraunts, we're expected to be closed for a long time to come, so surely it will continue for people like ourselves who literally cant get back to work?
