Remembering Kerry

Sorry but the cynic in me thinks is just an exercise to massage figures another way to suit the government.
I'll stick more with what the ONS say rather than trust Johnson and co. On just about anything. They've been looking more closely at the figures long before Johnson etc; wanted a new look at them. |

No EU deal after nightly long discussion
Netherlands, and our PM Mark Rutte still won't give in to the terms and conditions, so negotiating goes on |

PVDA (Labour) in power would be better for our relations with EU, given their Frans Timmermans already has good contacts with Miss Ursula von der leyen, and i see Asscher still slowly improving as the party's leader, i mean they were the biggest party here last EU elections also |

The first results of the vaccine developed by the University of Oxford are expected today.
They will be the results of the “phase one” study involving around 1,000 volunteers. These are the earliest type of clinical trial in people. Their primary purpose is to ensure the vaccine is safe enough to give to more people. But we may also get insight into the type of immune response provoked by the jab – does it lead to the production of antibodies or stimulate other parts of the immune system? What we won’t find out today is whether the vaccine “works” – can it stop you getting infected or at least lessen symptoms? That will require trials involving far more people and in countries where there is far more coronavirus going around than there is currently in the UK. |

Very selfishly... if Scotland has no choice but to be dragged out of the EU by the rUK, then I'm sort of hoping the EU collapses completely so that we can join whatever replacement Eurpoean market springs up in its place . "Hi guys... sorry we wrecked your thing... wanna make a new thing?"

Sky News just saying that it looks to be safe APART from the side effects that will probably need to be treated with Paracetamol !! Suggesting the side effects are headaches I’ve been plagued by headaches all my life so this isn’t great to hear Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I'm prone to headaches and the very occasional migraine too, so as an aside, I would strongly recommend using ibuprofen or a codeine-based painkiller (or a combination of the two) for headaches rather than paracetamol. Makes a huge difference. Just don't get hooked on the codeine . |

just about any medicine has headache listed as a side effect. At this early stage they really dont know side effects. It takes 100s of thousands of people to build an accurate picture of side effects and how severe they are

I mean they tweak the flu vaccine every year with God knows what but no one bats an eyelid, I recall a swine flu vaccine being rolled out very soon after that pandemic started
