I think there is a slightly weird vibe and I wonder if it's due to lockdown, in some odd way? They're just not interacting the same way they have in previous years in a way I can't quite put my finger on - but then when you consider that they're all quite young... and they've been forced into this odd position of not socialising very much for over a year... maybe they're quite literally "out of practice" compared to previous years where everyone will have been used to being out socialising/flirting regularly every weekend??

The trouble is they are wise to whats happened over past series. None of them apart from Liberty and (forgotten his name) are interested in each other. They are worried about putting their eggs in one basket then having their heads turned and being labelled a player and disliked by the public. They are leaving their options open as new people come in...they are playing for time I think.
