Croatia are still the World Cup Runner-up (beating us if I remember correctly) so they're not exactly "levels" below us.

And Denmark are in the top 10 in the FIFA rankings aren't they?

And Kane scored in the penalty shootout, plus if Southgate had've done such a bad tactical job against Italy then it wouldn't have gone to penalties imo.

The only mistake I think that Southgate made was his choices on who he had take the penalties (even Maguire was a gamble) but to me anyone expecting England to play like Real Madrid against Italy were getting too carried away imo.

We weren’t able to get the ball to Grealish for his first ten minutes as the midfield lacks creativity.. he did go through a short period of success but then he was stamped on which sadly slowed him down
