How do you rack up 1200 credit, you must never put your meter readings in

I think a big part of why my own electricity usage estimate was a lot higher than actual usage is the time of year I switched... Basically I think they took my summer electricity usage and projected that I'd use significantly more in winter months - which is actually not true. Our monthly electricity use is pretty stable across the year.

I get all that, but if you are putting in monthly meter readings or even bi monthly you are unlikely to rack up huge surpluses in the account...I wouldn’t let an energy company have 1200 sitting in their coffers earning interest when it could be in mine ...
