Hospitalisations up 50% !!!

Up from 6,000 compared to your last update just 9 days ago ?!


Ventilations up by around 45% !!!


I thought we’ve been told there’s nothing to fear !?!?

you need to be careful when you talk about hospitalisation. As the infection rate rises in the population, the chances of someone having covid when they are admitted for any reason, rises. The vents figure is the one to watch and it is very, very low and has been low for a while. There were > 3000 people on vents at one stage .... at a time when we had full restrictions in place .... today is just not comparable

Fair enough but ventilations are up from
150 to 211 which is an increase of just under 45% in the last 9 or 10 days .

How is that not a concern ..

its not a concern because it is a very low number. You understand statistics, so you know that if the base number is low, any rise generates a large percentage

True but an 45% INCREASE every TEN DAYS will/could soon be a real problem .
