Speaking for myself, I honestly don't want to argue on anyone, especially over someone passing away.

For me I hold nothing personally against anyone that I've argued on, I've had far more serious arguments than this even where me and the other person have insulted each other blind, I try not to hold onto Forum grudges anymore.

For me I just don't like authoritarian behaviour from whoever decided that everything has to shut down during the mourning period.

I do understand what you’re saying, Mock, but at the end of the day this isn’t-exactly an everyday occurrence and it’s only 2/3 days of official national mourning. It’s not going to kill.

But it shouldn't really be any days of things being shut down, especially considering we've not long been out of the worst of Covid.

I honestly can just do other things on the weekend, but I'm lucky that I'm not stuck with terrestrial TV as my only outlet for entertainment.

I don’t do much of terrestrial-television anymore, anyway, to-be honest. Not with iPlayer, ITV-Player, YouTube and Netflix (etc.) literally at my fingertips. I watch T.V. when I happen to be in the living-room but there are so-many viewing-options these days that I don’t think anyone’s going to feel stuck for what-to watch tomorrow/this weekend, unless they were absolutely-gagging for live-time footie.

Tbh I mainly watch on cable or streaming nowadays myself.

But I'm coming at it from the perspective of someone that might not be so lucky to have other outlets to go to when they want to take a break from mourning the Queen.

And do you really, honestly think television-transmission is going to be disrupted for that-long? Do you think they’d actually do that to die-hard EastEnders and reds/Man.-U. supporters?

Even, I’ve still got a week’s worth of Eastenders to catch up on so whether last night’s episode came through in-the-end (I haven’t checked) or it’s been postponed till Tuesday I don’t really care.
