Exactly, arista. Even if you’re not aware of racial subtleties and what’s appropriate thereof it’s still a total invasion of privacy and personal boundary-space to make a complete stranger answer such questions. Whether you have experience dealing with subtle racism or not there’s absolutely no defending this one.
