I can say with authority, however, that Susan Hussey has never knowingly

Chatting to people and being interested in them is what one does at a function of this nature., If the "charity worker" dressed in full African garb had simply answered her question instead of deliberately using obfuscation tactics to entrap the lady in her mid 80s then she would have moved on.

I don't agree with the nasty bit as to her but it's clear the Palace accept she was wrong, for them to both comment and let her leave her post.
Plus for Prince William to condemn it too.

They'll know the fuller facts to have concluded they needed just to comment even.

She likely wasn't intentionally being racist but her questioning I agree with you, got to a grossly inappropriate point.
