Reports are coming in of a local corner shop in Wigan who will be celebrating
the new year after a record days takings yesterday!

Brierley's corner shop racked up £4562.77 total days sales. Proprieter Ashir
Vadiz said that his takings had been boosted by a late sale of £390's worth of
own label Cider to a local lady. "She is a regular but normally just gets 20
Richmonds, 4 cans and a scratchcard."

The local lady was unavailable for comment and the police said they are aware
of the incident
