Hey, pantomimes have dancing girls, maybe strippers should go to schools to talk about feminism!

No-one (with a brain) has a problem with children knowing about LGBT people; no-one with a brain would act as if people questioning the appropriateness of Adult Entertainers are the right people to expose them to the topic is LGBTphobic.
yep

The problem is that you're deeply ignorant and you are pushing the narrative of 'gay things = adult things'. A drag queen can be risque or adult, or they can be very child friendly, like a panto dame or any show for kids that's ever featured anything similar.

The problem isn't that drag queens reading to children is inherently problematic, it's that you're uncomfortable with it and you're projecting that onto the drag queens because it's your flaw and your misunderstanding.

It's really quite sad that you don't understand anything about LGBT culture as an LGBT person yourself and that everything you say just sounds like the same **** that comes out of the mouth of any Murdoch drone.

Standard adult logic of someone who's read too much Murdoch **** and has lost the ability to think for themselves, more like.

Those kids are already smarter, more compassionate and just better equipped for the real world then you will ever be, because you're just a gullible person that reads **** and lacks the critical thinking to see it for what it is. It's sad that the older generations have been infected with that rot, but at least the future looks brighter.

No I'm not. If Tom Daley was reading a book about a family with two dads, I'd be all for it. An openly gay (and wholesome!) celebrity reading a book about an increasing common family type would be the perfect way to introduce LGBT themes to children.
