this weeks episode 3 was superb especially

great chemistry, acting between Christina Chong (La'an) Paul Wesley (Kirk) more great scenes from Pelia as well also a very young Khan Noonien Singh

so basically alternate timeline Kirk died, after he and La'an fell in love when they were sent back in time to stop a terror attack by some romulan time traveller whose intent was to kill Khan Noonien Singh to prevent the federation from ever going to exist, they were successful, although Kirk got shot, back on La'an's timeline enterprise, she video called Lieutenant Kirk just to see if he's still alive in her timeline, however she couldn't mention anything what had happened back in time with the alternate kirk, so she came up with an excuse asking more info on Sam's background
