I have a theory about 'straight guys' who hate gay people. It's because they're gay themselves. But they hate being gay.
Reminds me of that scene starring John Hurt as Quentin Crisp. Quentin's physically assaulted in an alley by a lot of burly men but Quentin really knew what was going on. |

Yeah he was like this jock frat boy who would shag this out gay guy on the quiet in high school/college but was openly homophobic. Though that was in a 24 year old American movie, but im sure those type of people still exist.
