I don't think you'll find many people happy to wish themselves out of existence so that their dad could have, instead of marrying their dead mum, have instead married the woman he evidently repeatedly cheated on her with.

I know we like to paint Dear Willy as a saint but that's a bit much for even him . "Oh daddy, I'm sorry I exist, you should really have some other son with Camilla."

It’s the fact that some people are mature enough to be happy for their parent to have found someone they are more suited to.

Absolutely...and William is now very close to his father and Camilla. Harry, on the other hand, would appear to have wished his father and Diana to stay together in misery for the rest of their lives, or failing that, that he would have put Harry first and not married Camilla, the woman he loved and found great happiness with.
Harry's wants and needs are always more important than anyone else's, in this respect and in all other ways. If they are not met to his selfish specifications, ...well, we've seen the result....
