And I'm not a fan of beauty pageants to begin with, yeah people might the whole premise is shallow and superficial,but that's what these competitions are all about. Beauty & health sells .

It's no different to when pretty models are advertising brands on TV . Imagine if Chris Hemsworth got replaced on the Hugo Boss ad for some obese Austin
powers character,I don't think it would have the same effect with audiences.

Whether people like to admit it or not ,we prefer to look at athletic sexy attractive people as it's more visually appealing.
