She had higher levels of testosterone than the average woman. The XY chromosome story seems to be a load of crap as there’s been no actual evidence to prove this.

High testosterone gives an advantage in power / endurance/ aggression etc

Its bad enough in other events but absolutely horrendous in combat sports
