My friends son worked at the recycling centre during his holiday from uni, where the recycling bin waste is brought and he said the number of parcels that they received that couriers had left in people's bins that they don't realise are there before the bins are collected is ridiculous

I think I've mentioned this before on here but, a few years back they put my wife's brand new contract iPhone (so at the time worth well over £1000) in the blue bin... at the wrong house. Luckily, the owners were away on holiday and hadn't been using their bins.

Terrible. I've always had good service from Evri, but nobody is infallible. They should ensure it never happens again...

Yeah, Evri (previously Hermes) is the cheapest to use, but it shows. It's utter crap in my experience. If i buy anything on ebay from private sellers who use Evri now, i message them before paying asking if they could go through Royal Mail (which isn't exactly great these days, and much slower) instead and i'll pay a couple of extra quid.

He said they got loads of tech items in every day. ..its madness and such poor service really. Just lazy delivering. The amount of FB posts every day I see with people asking for info on places they received there tracking details for us unreal

So yeah, they are pretty useless. Keep an eye out for sure.

…that’s the worst evil when you’ve waited in all day for an expected and promised delivery and there was no expected and promised delivery…no one called, no one text etc….then you see the note that was put through the door to say… sorry, you weren’t home…
