It's part and parcel of the job, he must have known that. If he feels that strongly he shouldn't have taken the job then? He wants the money and the privilege. Again I'm not at all saying that all people should sing but I don't get the hardship of paying lip service for two minutes. Saying he's too busy is total bollocks.

You can disagree but you’re factually incorrect, nowhere in his contract will there be a provision that he has to sing the national anthem, his job is football manager, not plastic patriot

Nope afraid not. Look, he wants the money and the kudos of the position. I hope he turns out to be a good manager. I have nothing against him. But it's foolish.
