This perception that Khalid is fake is puzzling to me, because I don’t think Ali or anyone on here who agrees with her have given any specific examples of WHY they think so.
I mean, to come to the firm conclusion that he is, there would have to be strong instances of this fakeness other than ‘he’s being too nice’, given the very definate beliefs being expressed of his fakeness.

But maybe he IS just nice, or maybe he is naturally a people pleaser, or maybe he is the sort of person who takes quite a while to let himself relax and feel comfortable with strangers. I think most people would agree that none of those things would qualify as deserving of the singling out treatment he is getting from Ali - for the other HM’s (apart from her chum Lily) have never expressed such sentiments about him.
So is it “ Ali says so, and she’s a professional, so it must be true” or if not, then what specific actions point to him being a ‘fake’ - standing out way over and above any of the other HM’s?

Not to stereotype gender roles,but I wonder aswell if Ali automatically sees the girls as more in touch with their emotions than the boys ,who she sees as just 'lad lads lads'. Meaning she unfairly judges them. Even Dean was harshly pre judging the boys.

But even so , she's still picked Khaled out and singled him out above the rest.

So she sees Hannah and most the girls as 'more open' . I wonder if she expected Khaled to sit down in a 1 to 1 therapy session and pour his heart out with tears and cuddling cushions ,as they hold hands and get more in touch with their feelings .

Her paranoia of him is very weird , especially after just 1 week aswell.

True though. I honestly feel like Ali could have won this for Khaled.
