I think Marcello likes to flatter women in an attempt to make them feel good and that he sees himself as a bit of a charmer, but he doesn’t always recognise where it might be appropriate to draw the line.

The fact that Sarah has a close friendship with him, and seems to like him a lot - as it appears that many housemates do - makes me believe there must be a very positive side to him. I do think we’ve seen glimpses of that, but the main show seems to focus on the characterisation the producers have chosen to assign him and focus on.

And I just want to add that I find it sad that Housemates get assigned rigid roles on the highlights, I think that it's unfair to the contestants and doesn't do any of them justice.

Yeah, I’m absolutely with you on this. They do it every year, and then share all the footage that support the roles that have been designated for them.

This was where the LF used to be so good, as we could see the reality for ourselves. Unfortunately, the current LF doesn’t allow us to do that.

However, the fact we are fully aware the producers do that, does allow us to look behind the one-dimensional character they portray, and look for the behaviours that indicate the people the housemates are in reality.

Omg the fuss being made, I'll admit it was maximum cringe and a bit gross...but mainly from licking wine off her arm .

Marcello & Lily were both drunk as skunks ,and behaving silly. He was laid on top of the bed covers. And Lily jumped beside him... like a giggly teen with a crush . Please tell me where the predatory behaviour was ?.

He definitely sees Lily as nothing more than a friend, the hair stroking...was innocent. But it's being heightened into something else. For once Ali did something right and rescued themselves from eachother.

Lily said she fancies Marcello, it was pretty clear who was encouraging who,but she was in a drunken stupor... looking for attention,in typical Lily fashion.

Even Emma was like " He's just talking to her you simple tw@t" , when Nathan tried to blow it up into something else.

Then Emma roasting Lily's dirty socks aswell " he wouldn't want her with those socks" , I'm dead .... Emma gave double the one liners tonight Lmao
